Try Chimera. It takes up less memory according to top. Safari is based
on a KDE browser where Chimera is based on Gecko (Mozilla/Netscape's
guts). Chimera is a bit faster and renders pages a bit better as well,
css based pages most notably. I have yet to try Safari with my PC
Banking (CIBC) but Chimera works fine there.

And for anyone who also uses a PC out there, try Pheonix. It's another
gecko based browser that just smokes IE and Mozilla.

Both Chimera and Pheonix are available at mozilla.org I believe.
