<hehehehe>

If we didn't have some off topic discussions this list would be on
life support. I often learn something new from the tit-for-tats that
go on here (I'm still waiting for more on the networking standards...
I'm really curious to know about the real-world performace of the
different options... come on Garth, pull some weight around here and
get some good real-world stats... I'm also curious to know what is the
max practical limit of 100 BaseT... my 5.6 MB/sec could have been
limited by the read-write speed of one of my HDs.... plus, how much
overhead do the protocols have & what are the implications of two-way
traffic?).

And, I still insist AW is inferior to Excel in all respects*.

*Well, OK, for most people AW or OpenOffice.Org are probably as good
as Excel as spread sheets for your run-of-the-mill stuff. They may
even be easier to use for some (or even many). But, for "real" work
<hehehe> there's nothing like Excel and VB.A to do serious
manipulation ;-P.
