Hi Jim,
    Netscape basically abandoned every version before 4.01 about 2 years ago.
I'm
pretty sure that past V 4.03 requires a PPC. It is highly possible that V 3.01
can't
handle the current Java.
    As to upgrading Netscape I have older versions, but newer than 3.01.

    They may be indeed related, if the security programme was part of
Netscape.
