[muglo] Missing Mail Index Titles

I use Netscape's Mail & Newsgroups (v.7.2) with MacOS 10.2.8. Yesterday
I noticed that my mail would not download probably because the available
space on my 80 GB hard drive was down to 148MB. I closed Netscape and a
couple of other apps in order that Toast would load thus enabling me to
store 4GB of files, which I then deleted.

When I reloaded Netscape, and accessed Mail & Newsgroups the titles of
both the mailboxes and the newsgroups had disappeared. The icons are
there but the titles have been replaced by dashes. I remember the titles
of the mailboxes (inbox, sent, trash, etc.) so I can access them OK, and
the message content is all there. More important, however, is the loss
of the newsgroups titles; there are too many of them to remember!

Question: Where is the missing information stored, and how can I replace
it? Must I reinstall Netscape? If so, how do I ensure that my messages
are not deleted in the process?

I recall under MacOS 9 there was a Netscape Users file in the
Preferences folder where mail-related info was stored. I can't find the
corresponding files in Netscape under MacOS X.

I just attempted to get the Muglo address to mail this and found that my
addresses also have disappeared and been replaced by dashes! However,
in this case, I was able to manually increase the width of the first
column and see the names so could get the addresses that way. Just as in
the case of mailboxes, the remaining columns cannot be expanded.

Any suggestions, please?

Bob
