London's first Mac group started in November, 1984, with a meeting up at UWO,
organized by the two guys Joan mentioned, who were selling Macs out of a
third-floor corner of the old Simpson's department store at Dundas and
Richmond. I think Ilbert Walker may have been the only member of the present
MUGLO besides myself to have been to that first meeting, but I may be wrong in
thinking Harold Merton joined later.

Actually there was another Mac group. Apparently the two guys that
started it sold Macs out of a corner of a store downtown. Don't know
much about this but some other MUGLO members do.
