I have not had any success running FMP v3, 4 or 5 in OS X. I get as
far as loading up the main program dialogue then nothing. It could be
the hardware I have - upgraded G3 233 desktop circa 1998. I'm
currently running 10.3.9 on a Sonnet G4 400 card tweaked to 475 Mhz
with 75 MHz bus woo hoo!! :(
I need to try it on some of my other machines but haven't got around to
it yet.
FMP 7 runs just fine though, even on my system it is relatively quick
although large sorts can be a bit of a drag.
Just because I elect to buy something more than a Mac mini does not
necessarily mean I have an extra $400 for FMP. Perhaps the system as
purchased does what is required or all I really need is AW.
