As long as you can export your data as a tab delimited file the move
should be relatively easy. In AW all you would need to do is create a
database with a matching number of fields and field names and then
import (AW uses the term insert) your data. It's likely your Clie
program is a flat file data management module same as AW's db module.
Once imported you can use AW layout features to make your db look
pretty with boxes and backgrounds and set up various layouts or
reports. AW has some automated features for conducting or finding
specific sets of records dwhich can be saved. It makes your more
common finds easy to repeat.

If you are using Palm Desktop software you should be able to easily do
the export and specify the export format. The Palm software I have
allows export using tab delimited files (with a .tab extension) or as
.txt files. Some programs automatically do the export and don't allow
you to chose formats but use .csv (a comma delimited format) which can
be a real pain. AW prefers text files so you may have to change the
.tab to .txt at the end of the file name.

If .csv is all you have and you have access to Excel, import into that
first then export from there and 'save as' a tab delimited file.

Most of your other data can likely be easily moved as well as long as
there is an equivalent/similar program on the Mac.
