Tee: Re Mac Crashes
Since I downloaded Mac 10.3.8 I have had nothing but misery. This is the
first time I have ever been so cursed by anything from Apple. I even took my
17" in to have it checked by Peter at MacOutpost. I have been on the line to
Applecare on more than one occasion. I have had it suggested that I change
User name for my computer so as to circumvent any problems with the system
software that might have crept in. Peter found no hardware problems after a
thorough diagnostic check. I continues to crash in about every program that
I have. It is so bad that I suspect (if I might be so crass to suggest - a
virus infection). With nothing that seems to fix it and with the problems
that I am having, I am led to believe that I might just have to save what I
have and wipe the whole thing clean by a new installment of the systems
software. I hate like the devil to have to do this, but I am at the end of
my tether with all these crashes and freezes. If anybody has any kind of a
brilliant solution, I would be most accepting of it.
Bruce
