Appleworks has templates for virtually all avery labels, which I get at 
Staples where there are usually 2 makes, one much less expensive than 
"Avery". Forest City Surplus also frequently has labels etc.. E.g.: I 
just got 15 sheets of "Glossy Photo 8.5" x 11" for $3.95 !!
FMP has label formats too, but more learning curve than Appleworks.
