Some members are intimidated to offer a '10 best list' in case they have to justify them or they are casual users and might only use a few apps on a regular basis. Please, I want your input! (No later than next Sunday) In hindsight, a better approach to this project might have been: "A friend is obtaining a Mac for the first time and has asked you for a recommendation for the best 10 applications to start them off." An update: I have received over 80 distinct application votes so far. Who said there is no Mac software out there? The final results should provide some interesting debate for weeks to come. I hope to have time to add some info on the more obscure nominations. P.S. I am recording the results on Numbers 09 (Just released). It may be too late to affect the voting, but a lot of reasons for using Excel have been eliminated. For example: numbers now has 250 math functions, up from 150. I am impressed by it. > pwdobson@xxxxxxxxxx (519) 474-1253 res.
