[muglo] Internet Problem

Just this weekend I had an internet problem as follows using Rogers
HS Internet. On Saturday the internet went down and after a
reasonable time I called Rogers to see if their system was down; it
was not but the helper at their end checked and found that the IP
Address was messed and he said he could reset which he did; this
worked but only for about 15 - 20 minutes! I asked him if I could
have corrected it myself and he said that I could try Restarting the
computer or unplugging/replugging the modem power supply; I tried
both methods which worked but again only staying o for about the same
time! My son suggested trying just unplugging/replugging the the
internet plug into the computer; this produced the same effect only
instantaneously. I am guessing that the problem is in the modem and
plan to call Rogers tomorrow to see if they can replace it... I am
also wondering if it could be the computer itself but I feel that is
unlikely... time alone will tell but wondering if anyone has any
ideas on this problem??
