I had something similar happen with a Lynksys wireless router, it would
continue to hold onto expired IP address and the browser would then report not
connected to Internet. The only way to fix it was to unplug it and then plug
it back in. I tried updating the firmware but could not do it with a mac so I
borrowed a PC laptop to do it but it did not help. Finally bought an Airport
and everything has been peachy-keen since.
