You were having connection problems or e-mail problems?

I highly doubt that had anything to do with MSN. All MSN does is provide
content to Sympatico. Connections to the WWW will be in the realm of
Sympatico's control and wouldn't have changed with their partnering with
MSN.

What do you mean with "someone else sent a letter"? Were you subscribed to
MUGLO through your Sympatico e-mail account?
If so, that had nothing to do with your physical connection to the internet.
Chances are that MSN was filing MUGLO e-mails into the "spam" directory
(that's where hotmail puts it... spam headers are often indistinguishable
from mailing list headers).
But, as I said before, MSN will have _nothing_ and I repeat _nothing_ to do
with establishing a connection between your modem and Sympatico's modem pool
(since MSN isn't the actual ISP).

There's of course the option of switching to another dial-up provider at
about 1/5 the montly cost of a dish with better latency ;)
Eric.
