I use attglobal.net, lots of local Canadian and U.S. access numbers.
Over the years that I used it have only run into a couple of occasions
were there was no available local number and had to use their 1 800
number at an extra charge. I have DSL from a local provider and use
att's $9.95 basic service which allows 10 hours connection time a
month. Lately when traveling I choose to stay at Courtyard by Marriott
and they provide high speed internet connection included in the room
rate.
