No, I don't think it does.
It just acts as a 'go between' the stereo and the computer.
For that you need a program called 'Wire Tap' that records it as a .aiff
QuickTime file which you can import to iTunes and burn it to a CD, listen,
convert, etc.
Works really well - there is a free (doesn't work with Tiger though) and a
paid version. I've used it with my concert DVD's to make a 'live' DVD.
To get it to work with Tiger I downloaded both versions, installed them and
the free version worked.
