Not quite true, as usual. Other choices are:-
1. No TV. Steam radio is very cheap. <G>
2. Erect an aerial. There are some of us who did that once upon a time.
3. Buy a satellite dish (actually cheaper & better than cable)
4. Rent videos, or DVDs.
