[muglo] Re: Holy Moley!!!

One other possibility - use authentication with your SMTP server. I
know that Golden offers this as it is what I'm using to send this
email while at work.
In Mail's preferences, accounts; select the account in question and
the account information tab. Add an additional SMTP server that is
configured the same as what you normally use, with the addition of:

Authentication should be set to 'Password'
User Name is your full email address
Password is the same as you use to get email.

This will add ":username@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" at the end of the SMTP
server name.

Now, when you are out and about with your 'book, and are using some
other network, just try to send your email. Mail will automatically
report the failure to send and prompt you to use the other SMTP
server. It should then work!

As I said before, your provider has to use authentication for this to
work, so YMMV!

HTH!

Mac users might not actually be smarter than PC users, but they
certainly use better English and a larger vocabulary to express more
complex thinking.
