So what "suite" are you trying to install? M$ Office 2000?

It could be that M$ Office 2000 expects to have direct access to the CD-ROM
hardware and because VPC provides emulated access to the CD-ROM this isn't
possible.

If you're having problems installing, I'd suggest you get in touch with
Connectix, or check out whatever mailing lists are devoted to VPC.

PS What versions are you using of (including decimal places):
1. Virtual PC (3, 4, 5, 5.x.x)
2. Mac OS 9.2 (9.2, 9.2.1, 9.2.2)
3. Windows (95, 95 update, 98, 98 SE, 2000, Me, XP)

How much disk space is available in VPC?

What happens when you install MS Office? Does the install fail with an
error? Does it crash? Does it freeze the emulator? Does it go through the
motions but nothing installs? Are you hooked up to the web (it may be that
Office is trying to communicate with M$)?
