Theresa:
Microsoft Office comes with one of the most annoying (IMO) help=20
features ever created called the "Office Assistant" and while the=20
default is for it to operate you can toggle it off in the Office menu.=20=
The way office assistant works is that it opens a window and (that=20
stays open until you quit the office assistant... does this sound like=20=
your problem? If so, open MS Word and click on "help" (not the question=20=
mark icon 'cause that will only open the Assistant) and about halfway=20
down the pop-up Help Menu, you'll see a "Use Office Assistant" line...=20=
click it once to make the check-mark go away and that should fix the=20
problem until you click on that damned "?" icon again!
Garth.

Thank you.
I=92m using version 10.1.1. There was no little red circle to close=20
anything.
In fact, I just opened it again . . .
It seems it somehow always opened with the top bar (which includes the=20=
three
circles) under the Entourage tool bar thus it was not visible.
After playing around with it a bit, I got the top bar out from under the
Entourage tool bar and now I can see the three circles and can close=20
it. I
had never seen these before. Not sure why it was located =93under/behind=94=
=20
the
tool bar. Each time I opened it, it opened the same way. Now that it=20=
is
visible, it opens properly each time.
Thank you for all your help
