I( bought a G4 1.5 Powerbook (refurbished saved $450) a year ago & I  
do a lot of Photo editing; not movies though; & I have no problems at  
all. I use Photoshop Elements 4 & iPhoto & have accumulated some  
5,000 photos. An iBook would be fine & a lot less expensive & the  
smallest screen (13") is recommended by many, including MacWorld. If  
travelling the bigger screens also weigh more & take up more room.
