Viruses[1] _will_ become an issue and Mac (not Mac OS [X]) will get
tarred by the virus brush in a few ways:

1. A Windows install on a Mac will get a virus and Symantec will use
it as an excuse to push their Crash Antivirus for the Mac;

2. A Windows install gets infected and happens to have superuser write
access to a Mac partition. It starts deleting files on said partition;

3. An application running under WINE (the non-Windows windows
'emulator') gets infected. If #3 gets infected it's not obvious who's
at fault because WINDOWS itself isn't involved!!! Thus, by default it
gets lumped under a Mac OS X virus :-(.

But, as for Mac OS X itself -- doubtful.

Eric.
