Hi Rich,
We too have had meetings, all but one at Mostly Mac; which is why in
the past I have not asked for any payment until last year; and we had
good turnouts. The last meeting as a "Sale" for members totally fizzled.

We haven't asked for any funds since May 1998, the era of our last
physical meeting. To drop (reduce) costs we went online, so I think 5
years of provision of online service was pretty economical, compared to
$1,300.

Our major cost is the Internet service, followed by the bank account. A
bank account is necessary, unless everyone trusts someone enough to
handle the money without any pilfering. I've already absorbed most of
the cost of the store flyers (Ads).

Don't really understand this one. I have already approached 2 local
peripheral manufacturers, but they weren't interested in Macs.

Been there, done that, see the Muglo Web pages. Any Muglo member can
post anything for free, we haven't charged members for 20 years.
I hope I don't sound too negative to your ideas, because the exec is
always open to suggestions for improvements & what members want.
Now I will await the mailperson next week & keep all informed of
progress. Thanks for all the email promises & support.
TTFN,
TeeC
