[muglo] Forum Poll

I am in favour of the forum, with the option of emails from the forum 
also being posted to the current email list, as long as there is a 
digest option.

I belong to a number of discussion forums, that can be viewed either 
at the forum via a username and password, or via email in digest 
mode.  With digest mode, emails arrive in my inbox after a certain 
number have accumulated.  Depending on the amount of traffic to the 
forum, I might get one to three digests a day from a particular 
forum.  I have found this is great for discussions I just want to 
monitor, but don't want to participate in on a daily basis.  The 
topic of the post and the poster are visible in the digest, so if 
there is one I am particularly interested in, I can scroll to it 
quickly.

If there is a topic I really want to participate in immediately, all 
I need to do is go into the forum preferences and turn off digest 
mode and the emails would come to me as they are posted.

As others have mentioned, it would be good to also have a feature 
where emails could be discontinued when someone was on holidays or 
whatever.  Upon return, the person could catch up with news on the 
forum site.

Kudos to Paul for all his hard work putting it together.  I like the 
idea of breaking discussions down into different topics.
