[muglo] Re: Formatting PC Floppies to Mac Format

Leith,

All Macs since at least the SE (around 1988 until they stopped including
a floppy drive) had a "superdrive" that could read and write to either
PC or Mac format. I use the PC formated disks on my Mac if I need to
send the disk to someone for use on their PC. If you want to reformat,
it's fairly simple. Select the disk and from the desktop, choose "erase
disk" in the Special menu. In the dialog box that opens choose "Mac OS
Standard 1.4MB" and click on "Erase." The disk will be reformated and
the icon will change(the "PC" will be gone) also gone will be any files
left on the disk.
