[muglo] Floating Desktop

When I switched on my MacBook this morning I found that the entire  
desktop moves up and down and left and right (about 1/2 inch) when I  
use the mouse even though the button is not down (nothing selected);  
this is very annoying !!  Can anyone suggest what the problem is and  
what can be done about it?
