[muglo] Re: Firewire Transfer of Files

I don't what happened to my previous message but the important part did
not go out leaving a meaningless message!!
What I had said briefly was that when I transferred files from my
Performa 5260 to my iBook a couple of years ago I used a Zip drive
which I had on the Performa and I bought another one for the iBook for
backup purposes; this worked well for the few files that I had to
transfer.

When I recently obtained an eMac I wished to copy most of the files so
I used an ethernet connection which only required the purchase of an
ethernet cable!! This worked very well !!

Thus, to me, it really comes down to how much info you wish to transfer
and what facilities you have without making a large financial
investment!!
