[muglo] Re: Firewire Transfer of Files

Thanks for the suggestion, Eric. Unfortunately it seems that the Performa
6400/200 does not have a 10BaseT connection
<http://www.sou.edu/studentcomputing/dialinsetup/macether.html>. And I have
since learned from Mostly Digital (new name!) that the so-called Target Disk
Mode with Firewire does not work with the 6400/200 (with OrangeLink
USB/Firewire PCI board).

While it would have been more convenient to have networked the 6400 and eMac, I
am now considering a USB Zip drive which can be connected to the 6400 for
download then to the eMac for upload, and vice versa.

But, since I have recently had to remove the internal modem in the 6400 and
switch to an external one, can I now install a 10BaseT card in the
communication slot and use your suggestion?
