Hi,
    IMHO the above is overkill. If "Always on" & one uses a Router, then
most routers have a firewall protection built in. As O/S X is a much
more "open" system than previous Mac O/Ss it is, or will be, more prone
to virus invasion. HTH.
    Of course, avoiding the use of Microsaft programmes also greatly
reduces the chance of invasion!
