How about an option 4 (provided your iBook isn't one of the G4 models)? Boot 
the iBook into OS 9!!!

And an option 5: a FireWire drive which will allow you to store a lot more 
files, conveniently!

I'm actually partial to #1. It may require you to do a little leg work but 
you can combine all those little sessions into one and burn them to CD.
