Hi there Teresa

I am not Scottish but spent 12 delightful years there - in Glasgow 
actually - in that time pretty dirty due to smoky fuels!!  It has 
improved a lot since they cleaned things up!!!  Where you ever there or 
were you in the mor prettier parts?  I believe there was a professor 
called Sneddon at the Royal Tech College where I taught for 3 years 
before moving on to Glasgow University after getting married. Was he a 
relation? That was in the 1950-53 period.
