[muglo] Environmentalists and Macs

Dear Muglo Folks:

I wonder if there's a correlation between being a Mac user and being
environmentally-friendly.

I too am a dedicated public transit user, walker and bike-rider, and
although I have a car, it's co-owned and driven by three people.  It
also has the lowest gas mileage of any car outside of the new
gas-electric hybrids.

I hate leaf-blowers - they're noisy, expensive, and don't do the task
half as well as the old-fashioned rake. I consider them a triumph of
marketing over common sense, like the SUV.
