[muglo] Re: Email addresses

I seem to recall that with hotmail and yahoo there is an "auto-forward"
function that will allow you to send incoming mail to another
address... while this is at best a band-aid fix, it would mean that you
won't have to log-in to hotmail to receive your incoming mail.
Personally I wouldn't use this feature 'cause it would be way to easy
to reply from your mac.mail to a hotmail message giving the spammer
world a new address to dump on.

As for the Sympatico/Rogers debates, here on my home network, I have a
tray loading g3/233(OS/9.0) and a g3/500 OS/X 10.3), an ancient
Performa running 8.6 and two pcs one running 5.0 and the other XP.
These are all connected by a single USB router to Rogers "Lite". They
all work fine and the last "downtime" I can remember is last October.
Rogers seems to have no Mac Compatibility issues here in Kitchener.

My only complaint is that since I switched from "Hi-Speed" to "Hi-Speed
Lite" everything is a lot slower, but it's still very reliable.

Garth.
