[muglo] Duplication of Attached Files

Hi

In Entourage I emailed to relatives 3 jpg files (photos) as attachments.
When they received their email in Outlook Express (they have a Windows
machine), each file was duplicated for a total of six files. However, one of
each pair was a smaller kb size than its mate and would not open. The other
one opened normally in Kodak EasyShare.

I replicated this sequence on my eMac (MacOS 10.3.9) using VirtualPC with
Windows 2000 Pro by sending the email and 3 attachments to myself. I opened
the email in Outlook Express and there were the six files. Of each pair,
only the larger would open in Kodak EasyShare.

Can anyone tell me why the files are being duplicated (one bad, one good)?
