[muglo] Digital Cameras

I know there was considerable discussion on the list awhile back 
about digital cameras, and I've saved all those emails and have them 
backed up, but, to be honest, I don't remember around what date they 
were.  Can someone refresh my memory?  Would they be online in the 
MUGLO archive?

I didn't pay much attention at the time to those emails, but now I'm 
thinking about getting a digital camera.  I don't know the first 
thing about them.  I would be using it with an iBook, 64 megs RAM, OS 
9.2.  I have a scanner, which I never used because of buggy software. 
I've got some replacement software but haven't tried it yet.  My 
scanner is a Umax Astra 3450.

I'm not rolling in dough, so I would be looking at a less expensive 
model.  However, I do want reliability and one that would last me for 
some time.

I'd like to get the camera by Saturday, so if someone could give me 
advice before then, I'd appreciate it.  Thanks.
