Haven't done it for a while Paul but the answer is in system
preferences under the apple menu.
Plug all your cable stuff into your computer as directed then ...
Network ... and I think I remember that you get the Network assistant
to help you. It is near the bottom of the page and just says help me.
You don't need to use any of the Rogers software stuff. Mark in the
assistant how you connect to internet and I think that should cut out
the internal modem.
I think there may also be possibly a phone connect icon at the top of
your screen. Check what this says.
I see that others have not answered so hope this helps.
Someone else may correct some of my technicalities ... call Rogers if
all else fails ... they do know how to get Macs hooked up although they
say they don't.
