Well that's more detail!
Not really sure what is going on but from what you describe 
iWorks would not do what you need and FMP would be like using a 
lamborghini to go to the corner store.

AW is probably just fine.  You are best to set up your own table 
style layout and use the line tool to make any vertical or 
horizontal lines that you need.  The advantage is that you can 
change the line weight, colour etc and would have more control 
over the print out.  If you would like I could do some layouts 
for you or better yet just copy and rename the file and practice 
on it.
