Hi. I downloaded and am playing with DOSBox. I have a copy of
PCAnywhere that I am testing. PCAnywhere can't find the COM ports,
and this is a problem with DOSBox itself. It doesn't by itself
address the modem or recognize that COM1 is a modem, in this case the
modem built in to the powerbook. I tracked down a text file which is
supposed to be a patch to allow DOSBox to address the serial ports. I
have no idea how to install it. I found some pages on the web listing
various DOS commands, but nothing which is obvious to poor oblivious
Mac user
There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in.
