Thanks for the advice, Dave.
The iBook G3 was used when I bought it, so likely the corruption
happened before I got it, as I had never used the Voices until the
problem occurred.
Do you think if I just delete the Vicki speechvoice in the folder, it
will cause any problems? I'm really new to OS X, and don't relish
the idea of doing a complete Archive and Install until I've had a bit
more experience using the system.
However, if you really think it's necessary to Archive and Install,
rather than what I'm suggesting, I'll do it.
