Thank you Karl for your info. which was very helpful.
I finally downloaded Audacity (1.2.2) which seems to do everything that
I wanted - record from my tape player through iMic and save the file in
WAV or AIFF (or MP3 or Ogg Vorbis) and can then read them into iTunes.
One thing though which is not clear is what format is used by regular
audio tape players? Is it WAV do you know? In other words if I burn a
CD to player on a CD Player what format should I use? Do you know?
Thanks again for your help and this follow up help if you can give it
to me.
