Rich,

After you scan them, place them into a Quark document, each on a separate
page. Then create a PDF from the Quark file. You will then have a "book" set
up with as many pages as you want. You can set the resolution to "screen",
"ebook", "print" or "press" settings (each has a higher resolution, and
therefore a higher final file size for the PDF).

Hope this is what you're wanting to do.
