I also am in the confusing process of trying to decide which is the 
best digital camera, printout hardware and scanning device for slides 
and overheads etc  - I 'll add this to my 'help' folder !

I think with the recent drop in prices, there are a lot of members 
considering the options - maybe we ought to start a digital forum here 
?  :-)
