[muglo] Re: Burning cd's

To establish whether or not you have a DVD burner or a CD burner:
1. DVD burner -- insert a blank DVD. If the computer recognises it and asks
what you would like to do with it you have a DVD burner.

2. CD burner -- insert a blank CD. Same story as above.

Note: all DVD burners also burn CDs but the reverse does not happen.

Note 2: Only DVD readers or burners can READ DVDs. CD-ROMs cannot read DVDs.

Note 3: all G4 PowerBooks can read DVDs, some can also write CDs and even
fewer can write to both DVDs & CDs.
