[muglo] Burning cd's

I¹d like to start burning cd¹s and am wondering what type of disc I should
buy.  I bought a pack labeled ³DVD + R² and someone told me these will only
work with DVD¹s.
I have pictures in iPhoto and mp3¹s in iTunes. Will these transfer to this
disc or will I need to buy new ones?
