Problem is I can't recall name it had. It was just a default name. Mac
Hardrive or something. Sadly I had to leave and shut it down and now it's
named 000000.
  If there is a Quicken user out there I have a question. This is going to
sound dumb, maybe because it is but . ..
    I've lost all my data for the last two years. Wonderful, eh? Thing is
that happaned to me the odd time over the years and I've had to start from
scratch, dig stuff up, etc. etc. I kept thinking the data must still be
there somewhere but where?
   Finally the last time it happened - about two years ago - I discovered
how to retrieve it. Thing is  I can't recall how except . . ..I left this
cryptic little stickie on the desktop
   "If you lose data try 60quicken data." But I've forgotten what that
means. Try it how? Must be intuititve but I'm not intuitive. Anyone have a
suggestion. 
   Meanwhile should I just pick a name and type it in place of the 00000?
   I wish I could explain how all this happened but even I can't put it
together in my head. I'll just chalk it up to a series of unfortunate
events, with apologies to Lemony Snicket. jim
