Interesting Joan ...
and I wish to add my comments as of today as a Rogers Cable user.
My older modem was swapped out today for a newer one. I was to handle
the set up as it was not complicated ... who wants to pay a $20 plus
fee when all there is is plugging in cables.
As I hooked the new one up, I realized that there was something wrong.
I phoned tech support when I couldn't get online only to be told that
Rogers does not support Macs!
Needless to say I wanted to know where that new statement was written
and that I wanted to speak with someone who was a Mac user. I didn't
ask where this guy was situated but I am sure it was the Maritimes
Centre that I had. I did get through to a Mac user who was this guys
superior and he walked me through the resetting that I had to do with
the new Docsis modem.
What gives with Bell and Rogers blocking Mac users.
Any information about isp.ca will be appreciated.
Thanks
Susan
