Hello Ted and other Muglos,

Indeed it can be satisfying and effective to take your consumer  
problems to a higher level. Another avenue is the media. Ellen Roseman  
at the Toronto Star follows up on consumer complaints with companies.  
She seems to have a good track record at getting resolution.

A quote from her April 30 column: "When it comes to fast action,  
nothing is better than a media call. But you can get attention just by  
saying you'll go to the media if things aren't resolved"
