Ellen Roseman writes that you should leave a few days grace when you pay
because the mail may be slow and you'll get dinged interest. I keep track of
most of my bills online and pay by phone. No muss, no fuss, no charge and,
most of all, no delays and no interest charges.
   That said I'm often amazed at how far businesses will go to rip you off.
Interesting stat in one of the papers yesterday. The students in university
who cheat the most? MBA students. Why am I not surprised. jim
