[muglo] Astra 3450 Scanner Software Problems

If this problem has been covered on the list before, pls let me know 
and I'll check the archives.  I just got the above scanner recently 
and so wasn't paying much attention to the scanner posts in the past.

I'm trying to install on an iBook running 9.0.4, 64 MB RAM.

I've got a Umax Astra 3450 scanner, with software Adobe Photodeluxe 
2.0 and Astra Scanners 3.7.5 which came bundled with the scanner. 
I've checked the websites for both Umax and Adobe and I've got the 
latest version of the software.  I've also printed out every readme 
and help guide I can find and have read them through.

The problem:  I've installed Adobe Photodeluxe and Adobe Type Manager 
with just CD and Memory enabled.  I did a custom install, as the 
version of Adobe Acrobat and QuickTime that came with the CD are 
older than what I have on my system.

When I restart, I keep getting the error message, with a bomb icon:

sorry a system error occurred
~ATM error type 119
restart with extensions off

When I restart with extensions off, I don't get this error message. 
I've tried disabling various extensions and even tried changing the 
load order, same problem.  Even when I've tried just restarting with 
CD and Memory only, the same thing.

Any suggestions?
