[muglo] Assigning keyboard short cuts to menu items

Hello all, in searching for a solution Apple's broken window zooming
widget (and it seems many have commented on its randomness and
uselessness (the only thing I use the green button for is to resize a
window that's partially off the screen... otherwise it's next to
useless ;-))...

I found out something neat (which Apple should advertise):

You can replace keyboard shortcuts with the Keyboard & Mouse:Keyboard
Shortcuts preferences pane.

For example, if you want to program your Window:Zoom menu item to have
F1 as its keyboard short cut you fire up the above mentioned prefs
pane, add the Safari application and add a keyboard shortcut titled
'Zoom' (the name has to match the menu item).

Quit Safari. Open it up again. Now you can use the keyboard short cut
(of course, this still doesn't make Zoom any more useful... just using
it to illustrate a point).

Note: it seems if you change an item that already has a short-cut it
(temporarily) loses that short-cut. For example, "Back" was changed to
F2 and command-[ stopped working. Exited Safari, removed the shortcut
from the prefs pane, opened Safari, command-[ is now working again.

Don't know if you can use command-letter short cuts yet.
