First off, http://www.pctomac.com/ has some good information.
Once again, specific points would be easier to defend against.
There's also the article on the politician who was trapped in his car due to
a crash of the computer system. They eventually had to take a sledgehammer
to the windows. Appropriate enough, since it was of course running WinCE.
That arts reference is uncalled for. OS X is really catching on with the
tech crowd. For example http://conferences.oreillynet.com/macosx2002/ .
Slashdot has become really pro-mac lately.
Also bioinformatics, and other such stuff is really big on macs. Carnegie
Mellon, Yale, Waterloo, and many other universities have mac labs.
If you want a reaction just bring in a powerbook. I don't suppose you have
a 17" lying around? ;-)
The apple site has some good information:
http://www.apple.com/education/hed/
Anyways, if they want to buy cheap laptops and increase windows'
stranglehold (does anyone want to do business with microsoft?) then let
them. It was said that even if the latest version of windows set your chair
on fire every time you used it, it would still be the standard. Think
different anyone?
